Carmagnac – Adults-Only Luxury Gîte in Charente
Booking & Payment
We like to keep things simple and straightforward. These booking terms are designed to make everything clear from the outset so you can relax and look forward to your stay at Carmagnac.Our current accommodation rate is €130 per night, unless a different rate or special offer is shown when you book.A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date. If your booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival, the full amount is payable when the booking is confirmed. Your reservation is confirmed once we have accepted your booking request and the required payment has been received.
Cancellations
We understand that sometimes plans have to change. If you cancel more than 8 weeks before your arrival, your deposit will be refunded, less 10% of the total booking value. If you cancel within 8 weeks of arrival, payments made are normally non-refundable. However, we will always make reasonable efforts to rebook your dates. If we are able to rebook your cancelled dates, we will refund your payments in full. We strongly recommend that guests have appropriate travel and holiday cancellation insurance to cover unexpected circumstances.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in is available from 4:00 pm on your arrival day.Check-out is by 10:00 am on your departure day.This gives us enough time to prepare Carmagnac properly for every guest.
Accidents & Damage
We understand that accidents can happen. If something is accidentally damaged, broken or stained during your stay, all we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible. Telling us promptly gives us the opportunity to put things right quickly and prepare everything properly for our next guests.We will always deal with accidental damage fairly and reasonably. Where there is significant damage, loss or an exceptional cleaning requirement, the reasonable cost may be deducted from the security deposit.
Security Deposit
A refundable €200 security deposit is required for your stay.The security deposit will normally be returned within 7 days of departure, provided there is no damage, loss, excessive cleaning requirement or other amount due following your stay. If we need to make a deduction, we will contact you and explain the reason.
Occupancy
Carmagnac is an adults-only property designed for a maximum of two guests.Only the guests included in the confirmed reservation may stay overnight at the property. We do not accommodate children or pets.
Your Stay
We simply ask guests to treat Carmagnac, its furnishings, equipment and surroundings with reasonable care.Please let us know promptly if anything is damaged, stops working or needs our attention. We would much rather know during your stay so that we have an opportunity to put things right.
Private hot Tub
The private hot tub is provided for the enjoyment of our guests. Please follow the guidance provided at the property and use it responsibly. Guests use the hot tub at their own discretion and should not use it where doing so would be contrary to medical advice.
Smoking
Carmagnac is non-smoking accommodation. Smoking is permitted outside, provided it is done responsibly and cigarette waste is disposed of appropriately.
Problems During Your Stay
We genuinely want you to enjoy your time at Carmagnac. If something isn't right, please tell us as soon as possible during your stay. This gives us the opportunity to investigate and, wherever reasonably possible, resolve the problem for you.
Events Beyond Our Control
Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect a stay, such as severe weather, interruption to utilities or other unforeseen events.
Agreement To These Terms
By confirming and paying for a reservation at Carmagnac, you agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions. If you have any questions before booking, please ask. We want everything to be clear before you arrive and, most importantly, we want you to have a wonderful stay at Carmagnac.
